HP Types 61 (standard yield) and 61XL (high yield) ink jet cartridges are used in several Deskjet, ENVY and OfficeJet printers. Both standard and high yield cartridges require a chip for correct printer operation.
Note:Printers using cartridge types 61 and 61XL may also use other types of ink jet cartridges (i.e., HP 122, HP 301, HP 802).
